Brennon's Breath

The Mourn
My Child
To One A Friend

The Mourn

Time passes so quickly all will be gone
Every fragment of memory lost at deaths dawn
So let me hold your hand and kiss your lips once more
We'll hope for an evening after the mourn

To miss you is silence that flows from my pen
To hold you is waiting for life to begin

Oh that ice wouldn't melt and wind blow away
Then myriad of smiles shoudn't decay

I miss the dead by time betrayed
So many memories marked by a grave

See vains in your arm delicatly unwind
Look at them yours mine

We are to believe in a world beyond time...
Time

Time passes so quickly all will be gone
Every fragment of memory lost at deaths dawn
So let me hold your hands and kiss your lips just once more
We'll hope for an evening after the mourn

My Child

Trapped within my mind
I feel i'm going to break
Into a thousand pieces a thousand pieces

Fly away my child
I don't know who you are
But it seems like I've seen you before
And you look just like me

Don't cry don't be scared I'll be scared for you
I'll be brave I'll be strong no one will harm you
You're part of me

When I was your age someone touched me
And I shrank to who I am now
Who I am now

Doctor upon Doctor different diagnoses
But I still feel alone
My child you grew up much to young much to young

Trapped within my mind
I feel I'm going to break
Ito a thousand pieces a thousand pieces

So fly away my child fly away
This place has never been for you fly away
So far from here

I'll look for your sweet smile
We'll be together once again
We'll be children of love with a knowing grin

To One A Friend

To one in the crowd my beautiful friend
As sunsets will whisper evenings will mend

To one up high where angels wing
To one who has sailed will with freedom sing
To one with brilliant bravery through sunlit cloud
To one silent with lightining by thunder made proud

To one with smiles with frowns
With by shape of the brow
With words with words silent
Has spoken to one in the crowd

With what sweet breath without heart would fail
As oceans have wept to give birth to your sail
For with how many pieces to countless to paint
Would the mosaic of love have sailed to wake

To you, too many , a mystery of one
A friend in the crowd
